Agniveer GD: Recruitment under the Agnipath scheme, offering a four-year service contract. Selection Process: Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE): Tests General Knowledge, Science, Maths, and Reasoning. Recruitment Rally: Includes Physical Fitness Tests (PFT) like running (1.6 km), pull-ups, ditch jump, and balance, followed by Medical Tests. Eligibility (General): Education: 10th pass with 45% aggregate and 33% in each subject. Age: 17.5 to 21 years. Roles & Duties: Infantry (fighting troops), drivers, gunners, operators, or support staff. Initial training prepares them for deployment in various departments. Key Point: GD is the primary entry point for general soldiers, encompassing diverse operational and support functions within the Indian Army.
